Our purpose

Expand what can
be measured.

NSense’s mission is to expand what can be measured by revealing the information already encoded in complex physical interactions.

Why NSense exists ↓

The physical world
is not silent.

Every interaction carries evidence of the objects, materials, organisms, and environments involved. A structure changes the way it vibrates. A surface alters the light it reflects. A biological system continually adapts to internal and external conditions.

Conventional measurement succeeds by isolating particular signals and suppressing complexity. But some of the most consequential conditions are expressed indirectly—across multiple responses, scales, and modes of behavior.

NSense exists to develop scientifically rigorous ways to recover that information and turn it into reliable knowledge about the physical world.

The information is already there. Our mission is to find it.

AI belongs inside
the measurement process.

NSense was founded to explore what sensing becomes when AI is integrated from the beginning—not added after the data have been collected. We use AI alongside physical understanding to help frame questions, design experiments, interpret complex interactions, and develop measurement systems that would otherwise be impractical.

As an AI-first company, we are also building these tools into how we operate: accelerating research, connecting knowledge across disciplines, and keeping more of our effort focused on scientific judgment and experimentation.

AI is not a substitute for physics or evidence. It expands what we can investigate and how quickly we can learn.

Build the evidence.
Then build the system.

NSense is an early-stage research and development company organized around consequential measurement problems that established sensing architectures do not adequately address.

We organize each effort around the evidence the problem requires—connecting physical hypotheses, controlled experiments, instrumentation, modeling, and validation. Depending on what the evidence supports, the result may be a feasibility study, an experimental platform, a prototype measurement system, or a longer development program.

Visionary questions deserve disciplined experiments.

A problem worth understanding

What does the physical world
know that your sensors
cannot yet reveal?

Bring us the condition, the interacting system, and the decision the measurement must support. We will begin by asking where the information may already exist.
